Criminal Injuries Compensation Board (CICA)
If you have been the victim of a physical or psychological injury that has been reported to the police or you have suffered a bereavement where the family was the victim of a violent attack, you may be entitled to bring a claim for criminal compensation.
Fatal Accidents
In such unfortunate circumstances it may be necessary to claim on behalf of a deceased relative. If the fatal accident was the fault of another party, then the family of the deceased may be able to make a fatal injury compensation claim.
Free Legal Consultation
Contact us on our free phone line on 0800 043 4453 for a free legal consultation or alternatively submit your details on our claim enquiry form and a member of our team will contact you.
Time Limits
There are strict time limits in place to make a personal injury claim; generally there is a three year rule, where you may bring a valid personal injury claim within three years of the accident. In some cases, the three year rule applies from the time you became aware of any injury suffered as a result of negligence. Contact us for further information on the time limit to bring a claim.

No Win No Fee Agreement
Alderman Solicitors will undertake your claim under a Conditional Fee Agreement or ‘no win, no fee’ agreement. The basis of this agreement is that we are only entitled to our legal fees if the claim is successful, and these are usually paid by the third party or their insurance company.
Therefore if your claim is successful you will receive 100% of the amount awarded. If the claim is unsuccessful we will not recover any legal fees and you will not be liable to pay any fees or costs. In short, no charge will be made to you whatever the outcome of your claim.
The basis of this agreement will discussed further once we have carried out our free legal consultation and fully assessed your claim. Initial enquiries could reveal that you have the benefit of Legal Expenses Insurance. If this insurance is in place, this cover may cover or assist with legal costs.
